Are we the same height now?

Lacy took this picture tonight and I can't believe we are the same height now! They grow up so fast...Carpe Diem!

Outside the Rooms

Lacy is standing outside our room on the golf course. We never get tired of looking at those mountains.

Our Patios

These are the two rooms we have. You can see the doors are right next to each other facing the golf course. This is how we freely walk from room to room. When Ted leaves in the morning, he unlocks the sliding door so the kids can come wake me up. Evan is always the first up and Connor is always the last. The little private area is perfect for walking Pepe undetected!

One More Day

The kids had so much fun in the 70 degree weather that we have decided to spend one more night in Tucson to enjoy the 80 degree weather forcast for tomorrow!

Finally warm enough to swim!

It has been freezing cold here and the beautiful pools of the La Paloma have been calling the kids. It was [sort of] warm enough today and the kids jumped right in!

Evan's Quest for Cactus Jelly

Every time we passed a billboard advertising roadside Cactus Jelly, Evan wanted to stop. Today at the mall he finally got some. As soon as we got in the car he dug in...and spit it out! Oh well, mission accomplished.

Another Mall

We wonder if the locals even see these beautiful mountains anymore. Everything around here looks like a painting. This is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. Lacy and Evan went with me to the mall while Pepe went to the groomer.

Shhh...they don't know I'm here!

Pepe stays on the bus during the day, but at night we put him in a large shoulder bag and sneak him into the room. In this picture I am sure he thinks he will blend in with the sheets if the cleaning people come in!

Tiger on the Prowl

The kids are standing right in front of where the bus is parked at the LaPaloma. Over their shoulders is the beautiful golf course...what a view! Ted went into the exercise room yesterday to work out, and who do you think was next to him? Tiger Woods! Tiger is in town for the WGC Accenture Match Play Championship. He has now made it through the preliminary rounds in 20 holes. Apparantly, that is some kind of record according to the Arizona Daily Star.

The La Paloma Parking Deck!

Here is the funny thing...the bus is parked in the LaPaloma parking deck and we have two (rather expensive) rooms at the resort. Ted is in meetings all day, and me and the kids are usually on the bus by 9:30 a.m. For the past two days, we have pretty much stayed on the bus until Ted is done and it is bedtime! It is comfortable, there is food, all our school stuff is here, and it is more like home!
