Movie at the Mall

This was taken in the food court of the Foothills Mall where me and the kids saw the Spiderwick Chronicles. The movie was good and the food court dinner was the kids favorite so far!

The La Paloma Resort

Here is the view out our porch at the La Paloma Resort in Tucson, AZ where Ted has a meeting until Sunday. We have two rooms here where we are staying, but our bus is parked in the parking lot. The funny thing is that we have spent all of our time on the bus, just leaving in time to go to bed!

Lacy the co-pilot

Lacy spent much of the day in the co-pilot seat with Pepe on her legs!

Ted in his other Office

During the week when we are on the road I do alot of the driving so Ted can work. This bus has a little office with a charging station, a printer drawer, file drawers and an executive chair. It is perfect for him to do anything he would do when we are home. What you see in the background is the Arizona skyline.

Carpe Diem

When we got this bus, it had a big, blank place on the front for a plate. I thought long and hard about what I wanted to put there. One night I literally woke up and knew what it would be...Carpe diem - [Latin for]Seize the Day! This whole thing came about when we realized that we have been married over 15 1/2 years it has gone by so quickly! In less than five years, Connor will be a legal adult, 1 1/2 years after that, Lacy will, and in less than 9 years, Evan will be gone and all of our kids wil be grown! That is just no time at all. We want to parent in a way that when we are finished, we will have no regrets. We will seize the days we have together so we can enjoy our time together as a couple once they are gone with the satisfaction that we took the time to KNOW our family. We are so glad to be doing this now instead of wishing we did later.
