Kris and Ted's Excellent Adventure

For a decade we dreamed and planned for the time that we could buy our RV. We did just that in June of 2007. Our plan was to take two to three years to travel by motorcoach throughout the United States and Canada. We began in October of 2007 with our travels along Route 66. We have now logged in over 50,000 miles and have finished visiting all of the 48 contiguous States in America. This blog is incomplete and I hope to fill in the gaps soon. It's been a wonderful journey.

Tutu's Cookies

The last thing we do each night is make cookies. My mom (Tutu) made almost 300 home made chocolate chip, sugar and "monster cookes" that she shaped and froze raw. Each evening we take out three cookies each and bake them (that is everyone but Evan...he eats his raw). We go to bed with the sweet smell of fresh baked cookies lingering in the air.

The Gazebo

This lovely gazebo is right out the door of our bus It overlooks the city and has cushoned chairs inside. Our time in the gazebo was the perfect end to a wonderful day.

The kids love exploring all the playgrounds when we reach a new location. If you look in the top left of the picture, you will see our bus.

This is a great view of the bus and the car that we tow in the RV park. We have really enjoyed this Las Cruces KOA. It is beautiful.

Pepe's Playground

This RV park has a wonderful pet walking trail and a fenced in "Doggie Park". Pepe thinks it's great!
