Playground in Clinton, Mississippi RV Park

Our first night was spent in Clinton, MS. It was a real...ahem...interesting place to stay. Almost everyone there actually lived there full-time, but it worked for an overnight location. We had dinner at Sonny's Barbque where they had security in the parking lot. We were thinking we were in a bad part of town!

Pepe takes the wheel!

Someone asked where Pepe sits when we travel. The answer pretty much is wherever Kris is! Here we were travelling down the road and he was just watching the world go by...and honking the horn!

Evan says it's time to go!

We keep the bus parked in our driveway and for weeks now we have been planning and loading. Dutchess, our "big" dog, won't go on this trip. Our friend Denise will take good care of her while we are gone! Evan is REALLY excited about what he calls our "monthly trip" (he means month long).

Bologna Art

It is creative lunchtime on the bus when Lacy and Evan decided to make bologna people! Usually we graze the whole time we are on the road. I put lot's of home cooked food in individual baggies in the freezer for us to eat. Typically, we try to go out to dinner locally so we can get a flavor of the town and talk to the locals.
